The drama centers the May-December romance with an eight-year gap.
The main female character, Shan Wu-Shuang (单无双), is a 33-year-old single woman who’s successful in her job as a magazine editor. Wu-Shuang is smart, savvy, and always shows her confidence even towards the fact that she’s still single. However, she felt upset in private when she heard the gossips and sarcasm from her co-workers about her being too shrewd to have a boyfriend.

Lucas meets Wu-Shuang when he’s hired to be her assistant.
