1)
A: Nǐ jiā yǒu duōshǎo (jǐ kǒu)rén ?
你家有多少(几口)人?
How many people are there in your family?
B:Yǒu wǔ kǒu rén, bàba, māmā, gēgē, jiějiě hé wǒ.
有五口人,爸爸,妈妈,哥哥,姐姐和我。
There are five people, my father, mother, brother, sister, and me.

2)
A:Nǐ yǒu duōshǎo xiōndì jiěmèi?
你有多少兄弟姐妹?
How many siblings do you have?
B:Sān gè. Liǎng gè jiějiě hé yīgè dìdì.
三个。两个姐姐和一个弟弟。
Three. Two elder sisters and one younger brother.
B: Nǐ ne?

你呢?
And you?
A:Wǒ méiyǒu rènhé xiōngdì jiěmèi. Wǒ shì jiālǐ wéiyī de háizi.
我没有任何兄弟姐妹。我是家里唯一的孩子。
I don’t have any siblings. I am the only child.

A:Nǐmen yǒu jǐ gè háizi?
你有几个孩子?
How many children do you have?
B:Wǒmen yǒu liǎng gè háizi, yīgè érzi hé yīgè nǚér.
我们有两个孩子,一个儿子和一个女儿。
We have two children, a son ,and a daughter.

4)
A:Nǐ hé nǐ de zǔfùmǔ zhù zài yīqǐ ma?
你和你的祖父母住在一起吗?
Do you live with your grandparents?
B:Wǒmen bù zhù zài yīqǐ, dàn wǒmen zhù dé hěn jìn.
我们不住在一起,但我们住得很近。
We don’t live together, but we live very closely.
