1.这是我拍的照片.

Zhè shì wǒ pāi de zhàopiàn.

This is the picture I took.

拍 (pāi) is the verb, “take” the picture.

 

2. 你有一个漂亮的女儿。

Nǐ yǒu yīgè piàoliang de nǚ’ér.

You have a beautiful daughter.

 

3. 这只可爱的狗是我朋友的。

Zhè zhǐ kě’ài de gǒu shì wǒ péngyǒu de.

This cute dog is my friend’s.

 

4. 他有没有这本书?

Tā yǒu méiyǒu zhè běn shū?

Does he have this book?

The quantitative “本(běn)” is used to count “books”.  Similarly, photo book, magazine, or dictionary use “本(běn)” as well.

 

5. 可不可以帮我拍照?

Kěbù kěyǐ bāng wǒ pāizhào?

Can you take a photo for me?
